Non-salvageable contents, carpet, floor coverings that are requested for storage will be disposed of after three months unless specifically requested to keep in storage in writing. Pre-existing damage or repair and maintenance issues that are not related to our current works are not the responsibility of Amtec. Consequential damage caused from tape being used in order to create containment chambers is not the responsibility of Amtec’s and as such Amtec would not accept any costs for repairs required after such an incident. Amtec recognises and adheres to the General Insurance Industry Code of Practise. Amtec only uses qualified workmanship and will approach works in line with best practises.
Unless specifically specified in our scope of works quoted works will not include:
- Ongoing storage costs
- Building repair costs of any kind
- Replacement costs of contents, fixtures, fittings, floor coverings or window furnishings
Warranty:
Amtec provides a warranty for all of our works for a period of one year following completion of the work. Workmanship issues will be addressed at Amtec’s discretion via the following methods:
- Rework and repair as necessary at Amtec’s sole expense; or
- Refund the service price charged for our services. This warranty does not cover the customer’s failure to maintain proper space conditioning or from intervening causes after
- Amtec’s completion of the work.
Limitations:
It is agreed that Amtec’s liability under any warranty, expressed or implied, shall be limited to reperformance of services or refund of the service price, at Amtec’s sole option. Amtec shall not be liable for the replacement cost of any equipment or premises, nor shall Amtec be responsible for damages related to loss of use of premises or equipment, or any other consequential damages.
